Learn to curl at the Cumberland Curling Club!
Each year the Cumberland Curling Club runs a comprehensive Learn to Curl Program.
In our Learn to Curl Program, you will receive a structured lesson plan delivered over an 8-week period where you will learn about delivery of a rock, sweeping, types of shots, etc. – all taking place in a friendly environment!
We’ll finish with a mini game and a bite to eat on our last Monday event.
Brooms, sliders, etc. are available at the Club (included) and all you will need are CLEAN shoes (runners), stretchy (i.e., comfortable) pants, warm jacket, and gloves.
The tentative start dates for the learn to curl program is mid-October 2022.
When? Mondays, 6.30 to 8.30 p.m.
How much? $250 per person

“I was definitely skeptical of my abilities after week 1 but found that the course progressed in a way that allowed total beginners like me to find our footing and build our confidence.
Major kudos to Dave for his patience and enthusiasm. He made it very fun for us all. Shane, Jeff, and Alain were all really helpful and encouraging when they were with us too.
I will definitely recommend this program to anyone I know who wants to learn to curl too. “
“This program was very well run and I would recommend it to anyone interested in learning the sport… Overall it was an enjoyable experience for me, and I intend to join a league event next year.”
“Dear Cumberland Curling Club,
- With appreciation and gratitude, Mike and family
“I am writing to let you know about how I feel about the Monday night Learn to Curl. I wanted to say how lucky we are to have such great teachers. All are extremely helpful and patient. My game has improved a lot since the first week and it seems that everyone else’s has as well. I could not have expected it to be as good as it is. I’m really excited to continue to curl at CCC.”
